Zahr Freighters is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while supporting the financial operations of a growing logistics organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounts.
- Support the preparation of invoices, vouchers, and expense reports.
- Record daily financial transactions and update accounting systems.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist senior accountants with audits, reports, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; accounting software knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
