Zahr Freighters is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our warehouse team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a candidate who can efficiently manage inventory, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure smooth material flow within a fast-paced freight and logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems.
- Organize and store goods properly to ensure easy retrieval and safety.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for stock replenishment.
- Prepare materials for dispatch and verify outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and storage standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the storage area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is an advantage.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in logistics or freight companies.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and manage stock efficiently.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
