Zahr Freighters is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making within a fast-paced freight and logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
- Coordinate with departments to gather financial data and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in logistics or freight companies.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and UAE VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
