Zahr Freighters is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Logistics Executive to join our operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional with strong coordination and problem-solving skills who can oversee logistics activities, ensure timely deliveries, and support efficient supply chain operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining smooth transportation processes and delivering exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily logistics and transportation operations.
- Schedule shipments and ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with customers, transport providers, warehouse teams, and drivers.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery status.
- Prepare shipping documents, delivery notes, invoices, and logistics reports.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure material availability.
- Resolve transportation issues, shipment delays, and customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of shipment coordination, freight documentation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and logistics management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of UAE logistics regulations and customs procedures is an advantage.
