Zahr Freighters is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and logistics team in Dubai. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can safely operate forklifts, handle cargo efficiently, and support the smooth movement of goods throughout warehouse and distribution facilities. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining safe, organized, and productive logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack cargo safely and efficiently.
- Move pallets, freight, containers, and warehouse inventory to designated storage areas.
- Inspect forklifts before and after each shift to ensure safe operating conditions.
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance requirements, and safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage during transportation and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and forklift operations.
- Follow company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and UAE workplace regulations.
- Support warehouse staff with general logistics and material handling tasks when required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification or license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, freight forwarding, or logistics environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling procedures.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
