HR Assistant

Zahr Freighters is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our human resources operations in Dubai. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about HR functions and eager to contribute to a growing logistics and freight forwarding company through strong administrative and people-support skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain employee records, databases, and HR documents with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
  • Help prepare HR-related letters, memos, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions, attendance tracking, and performance review schedules.
  • Handle daily HR inquiries from employees and provide timely support.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by gathering and verifying attendance, leave records, and other data.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Organize HR files, manage correspondence, and provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in an HR administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic HR software tools.
