Zahr Freighters is looking for a skilled and reliable IT Support Engineer to manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure at our Dubai office. The role involves ensuring smooth operation of systems, providing technical assistance to users, and maintaining secure and efficient IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical problems
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and email systems
- Ensure regular system updates, backups, and antivirus protection
- Assist in network maintenance, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi systems
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related services
- Support business applications and internal systems
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with servers, backups, and cybersecurity practices
- Experience with ERP or logistics software is an advantage
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests
