Zahr Freighters is looking for a skilled and solution-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional who can ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems, provide timely technical support, and maintain secure network infrastructure within a fast-paced freight and logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical problems promptly.
- Manage user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.
- Ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes are in place.
- Support ERP and logistics management software operations.
- Maintain IT documentation and system inventory records.
- Coordinate with external vendors for advanced technical support when required.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with firewall configuration, antivirus management, and data backup systems.
- Experience supporting ERP or freight management systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
