Zahr Freighters is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our warehouse and operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional who can efficiently manage inventory, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure the proper storage and distribution of materials and equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to smooth warehouse operations and support the company’s logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or replenishment requirements.
- Issue materials and supplies to authorized personnel as required.
- Organize the warehouse and ensure proper storage of inventory items.
- Conduct routine stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation of stock receipts, issues, and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Controller.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
